The second “Recicl’arte” competition is now open for anyone wishing to enter and show off their creativity. The winning image will be chosen by the fans on the Sociedade Ponto Verde Facebook page.

The Green Project Awards are designed to encourage the publication of as yet unpublished works that focus on the environment and sustainable development.

The Reciclar é Dar e Receber (Recycling is Giving and Receiving) project helped to create study rooms at private charities for more than 2,800 children from disadvantaged families, in an investment of around 400,000 euros in two years.

Sociedade Ponto Verde has just joined Projeto 80, a nationwide initiative that invites young people from student associations all over the country to submit projects that generate sustainable behaviour.

The book won the \"SPV Special Award – Best Original Work on the Environment\" in the 2012 Green Project Awards. The award is the fruit of a partnership between Sociedade Ponto Verde and the Principia publishing company.
