Public once again plays decisive role in success of Recycling is Giving and Receiving campaign by helping recycle used glass packaging and building study rooms at private charities

Sociedade Ponto Verde has. In October the new SPV campaign will be telling people in Portugal that their efforts have been worth it, because what we can recycle in an hour is pretty impressive.

Reciclar é Dar e Receber (Recycling is Giving and Receiving) was the winner in the Motivational Campaign category of the fifth GPA Portugal. This social and environmental responsibility project has won two awards for Sociedade Ponto Verde in the space of three months.

The award-winning Reciclar é Dar e Receber (Recycling is Giving and Receiving) social responsibility campaign by Sociedade Ponto Verde made it possible in 2011 to build 30 study rooms at private charities that help more than 1,000 disadvantaged children to study.

Choosing the best of the 200 or so entries was not easy. The winner\'s work and signature will be seen in 100,000 homes in Portugal.

The workshop in Lisbon on 19 June will be attended by some of the top life cycle assessment experts.
